On your cat’s vial of medicine the dose is written with a zero before the decimal point, it is important to remember due to space constraints this zero is not on the dosing syringe.
Examples:
1.)
If your cat’s dose of medication is 0.08ml, line up the plunger with the fourth smaller hatch mark from the tip of the syringe.
2.)
A dose of 0.6ml would be drawn up to the 6th numerical graduation which is marked as .6.
3.)
A dose of 0.25ml would be drawn up to the midpoint between the second and third smaller hatch marks after the .2 graduation. Remember, each smaller hatch mark denotes 0.02ml, so odd numbers will fall between these smaller hatch marks.
